Practical Skills

What Your Dog Can Learn

Wet Nose Knowledge provides in-home dog training in Clarksville, Tennessee, focused on practical obedience, better leash manners, reliable recall, and everyday behavior. Positive-reinforcement training is tailored to your dog and designed to build skills that carry over at home, on walks, and around real-world distractions.

Everyday Foundations

Sit Down Place

Core behaviors that create structure and give your dog simple, clear directions throughout the day.

Coming Back to You

Come Recall

Build a stronger response when you call your dog and work toward greater reliability as distractions increase.

Better Walks

Heel Leash Skills

Develop better habits for moving together and make everyday walks feel calmer and more manageable.

Reliability Around Distractions

As training progresses, familiar commands can be practiced in situations that require more focus and self-control, helping your dog carry those skills into everyday life.

The Approach

What Training Looks Like

Training takes place where many everyday behaviors actually happen: your home. The process stays focused, practical, and centered around the goals you have for your dog.

1

Tell Us About Your Dog

Start by sharing your dog's age, temperament, current behavior, and the skills or challenges you'd like to work on.

2

Training Comes to You

Sessions take place in your home, giving your dog the opportunity to learn in a familiar environment where everyday habits already happen.

3

Build Skills Positively

Wet Nose Knowledge uses positive reinforcement, including tools such as treats, toys, and clickers, to encourage desired behaviors and build confidence.

4

Strengthen Reliability

As skills develop, training can progress toward greater consistency, stronger command retention, and improved performance around distractions.

Puppies, adult dogs, anxious dogs, energetic dogs, and dogs with challenging behavior are all welcome.

Wet Nose Knowledge works with dogs of different sizes, temperaments, and experience levels.
